PincBloom is committed to protecting yourprivacy and ensuring the security of your personal and health information. Wehandle all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains howwe collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use our platformand services.
We collect two types of information:personal information and sensitive health information. Personal informationincludes your name, date of birth, contact details, and billing information.Sensitive health information includes your medical history, symptoms, currentmedications, pathology results, consultation notes, and any otherhealth-related information you provide to us or that is generated during yourcare.
Information is collected directly from youwhen you create an account on our platform, complete our AI-assisted triagequestionnaire, communicate with our practitioners during consultations, uploaddocuments or images to our platform, or contact our support team. We may alsocollect information from third parties, such as pathology providers or otherhealthcare providers, with your consent.
Your information is used strictly for thepurposes of providing you with medical care and managing our clinical services.This includes facilitating consultations with our practitioners, issuingprescriptions and referrals, processing Medicare claims and payments,communicating with partner pharmacies (with your consent), sending appointmentreminders and follow-up communications, and improving the quality and safety ofour services.
We will not disclose your personal orhealth information to third parties without your consent, except where requiredor permitted by law. We may share your information with other healthcareproviders involved in your care (e.g., your regular GP or a specialist) onlywith your explicit consent. We may also disclose information where required bylaw, such as mandatory reporting obligations or court orders.
We employ robust technical andorganisational measures to protect your health data against unauthorisedaccess, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is encrypted intransit and at rest, and is stored on secure servers located within Australia.Access to your health information is restricted to authorised practitioners andstaff involved in your care.
We retain your health records for a minimumof 7 years from the date of your last consultation, or for 7 years after achild patient turns 18, in accordance with Australian medical recordslegislation. After this period, records are securely destroyed.
You have the right to request access to thepersonal and health information we hold about you, request corrections to anyinformation that is inaccurate or out of date, and withdraw consent for the useof your information (where applicable). To make any of these requests, pleasecontact our Privacy Officer at hello@pincbloom.com. We will respond to yourrequest within 30 days.
